USED TO
Past memories
When we want to talk about something in the past that we don't do anymore , we can use the structure used to. So, like every grammatical rule, this one has one rule that we should follow.
It is like talking about the evolution of the things.
The "used to" is normally used when you refer to somenthing that happened in the past. You can use this structure in different forms.
The first structure is in the positive form.
Positive form
used to + infinitive
Second structure is in the negative form.
Negative form
didn't + use to + infinitive
Finally, if you want to make a question, you can use the next estructure.
Interrogative form
Did + subject + use to + infinitive
For better understanding, here we show you the next examples:
Positive
Before I used to arrive early.
We used to go camping in the forest when I was in the high school.
You used to eat cakes when I lived with my mother.
Negative
They didn't use to go in the parties everyday.
I didn't use to play basket in high school.
He didn't use to visit his grandmother when he was sick.
Interrogative
Did you use to go in the meeting with your group?
Did you use to buy clothes in the shopping mall with your friends?
Did you to take pictures in the park every moday?

That's a good lesson! I understood what do you refer with the "Used to" and how can we use it, every example sounds great, but I didn't understand the third example in positive form, you said that someone used to eat cakes when you used to live with your mother, I didn't catch it, but everything else is fine :)
ResponderBorrarexcellent information because it tells us how it works and also gives us its structure as data in the positive, negative and interrogative form and from what I understood it is a past form that is used.
