The parts of speech by Alex Javier Aragon
Parts of speech refer to the different categories of words in a language that
serve different functions in a sentence. There are typically eight parts of speech in English:
Noun - a word that refers to a person, place, thing, or idea
(e.g. dog, city, happiness)
Pronoun - a word that takes the place of a noun
(e.g. he, she, they)
Verb - a word that expresses an action, state, or
occurrence (e.g. run, sleep, happen)
Adverb - a word that modifies a verb,
adjective, or other adverb, indicating time, manner, place, or degree (e.g.
quickly, very, here)
Adjective - a word that describes or modifies a noun or pronoun (e.g. red, happy, big)
Preposition - a word that shows the relationship of a noun or pronoun to another word in the sentence (e.g. in, on, at)
Conjunction - a word that connects words, phrases, or clauses (e.g. and, but,
or)
Interjection - a word or phrase that expresses strong emotion or surprise
(e.g. oh, wow, alas)

I like this information because is important that we take into account what is the function of a word that we are using to give each word an appropiate use.
ResponderBorrarAlthough it does not seems, a lot of people commit these mistakes (bad use of word), which indicate a lack of vocabulary and knowledge.
In some cases, the words have more of one use, for example, the use of the word "lack" which is a noun and verb in this case that word has two function un the speech but there are words that just have one use, for example, the word "think" which is a verb; this a clear example of that there are words with differents use and we must learn, know, and recognize what is the function of the one word.
The text provides a clear and concise explanation of the parts of speech in English. It explains how each part of speech serves a different function in a sentence and provides examples of each category. It is a helpful introduction to the topic for someone who is just starting to learn English grammar, however, it is unclear why the commentator mentions their name at the end of the text. It seems irrelevant to the topic at hand and may confuse readers. It would be better if the commentator focused on providing additional insights or asking questions related to the topic.
ResponderBorrarThe text gives concise and precise information on the subject, on the parts of speech in English. This is a very important topic for those who start in English, because in this topic they get very confused from the beginning. Also in the use of words in the order when they are put, since words have different meanings and putting them in a different order can change the meaning of the sentence.
